Exciting GridSTAR project means industry benefits

Located in Philadelphia’s historic Naval Yard, the new GridSTAR Center is a green energy technology infrastructure that involves multiple technologies working together to help us learn how smart grid technology can be applied to a residential and commercial setting to maximize energy efficiency.
Part of the project involves a specialized camera that photographs the atmosphere and compares that information to the performance of the solar grid system. This way we can learn more about how weather affects solar panel output.
