London’s phone boxes are going green!

Wondering what’s going to happen to all those phone booths now that mobile technology has taken over? London has a great answer – solar powered charging stations!

The stations are free to use, though advertisements are shown while you wait for your device to charge. The boxes are able to charge a variety of different device models – up to 100 a day – and can boost battery life 20% in 10 minutes.
